i finally went for some much deserved kayakin on saturaday.
an expedition invitation that i gladly took without much hesitation.
its been over a YEAR since i last got on a beloved kayak so this was, good!
kayaked frm pasir ris, arnd connies island and back.
actually wanted to kayak arnd pulau ubin, but when we reached the tip of it, furthest frm pasir ris shores, we decided that we shld save time ( and save a fellow kayaker frm the the throes of sea sickness should an onslaught of choppy water come our way, later in the day) and go round connie instead and made that detour.
either way, it was good since i got to witness some show manship, first hand frm fellow expedition kayakers, how the 3 star course would be like. ( the rest, four of em', are 2.5 star holders. they haven gone for their assessment and are tryin to complete their course.)
pretty cool, and i can't wait to get on with mine ( 3 star i mean).

on the WAY, we saw jelly fishes. haha. some normal ones, and some really ugly ones, that seemed to get bigger as we got closer to the home destination.

the biggest spanned 80 cm in width. and it was BROWN with yellow speckles all over.
with volumous tenticles. that were ALSO brown and speckled with yellow spots.
it looked so gross.
its could haf been one of nature's atrocities.

and i haf attained a cough and flu. NOT frm the kayakin outin but i think frm my dad, who is now currently fully cured.
no sweat. as long as this sickness doesn't kill, gymin has to go on!

tmr is halloween!
its drainin and borin. and yes i'm goin to go trick or treatin.

Ironically, the paper TWO was my main concern and paper one went by without much of a hitch. in fact i managed to write 3.5 pages and check it twice before handin it up on the dot.

oh, and i did the one on globalisation. DUH. haha. A geog student who never fails to apply what she already knows and ATTEMPT to gloat abt it whether it turns out to be factual or fallacy. (:

and since i started first wid the summary, i crashed through the rest of the questions, so i highly doubt i'd do well overall for paper 2.

CLB was wad u call an unbelieveable.
u'd think that it'll be all easy and shit with all that multiple choice questions but u could be SOOOooo wrong.
paper 1( compo) i shan't elaborate cause no matter how much i rate it my grade for it will still eventually range from very bad to just bad, but BAD nonetheless.
paper 2 was amazingly the killer and it started out with a HARD, multiple choice close passage, followed by an even MORE in-decipherable(or is it "un") short story, whose answers were alphabets that fell in random order, out of my brain.
so today was just a bad day for me and my eyes felt they were abt to pop out of my head in the middle of the paper 2 of clb.
